Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows (Book 7)

Explanation: At the bottom of a frozen pool in the Forest of Dean. Snape, on Dumbledore's orders, placed the sword under the ice so that a true Gryffindor would find it. Ron dives into the icy water and uses it to destroy Slytherin's Locket.

Explanation: Seven Potters in total (Harry + 6 volunteers on Polyjuice): Hermione, Ron, Fred, George, Fleur, and Mundungus Fletcher take on his appearance. Each is escorted by an Order member. Mad-Eye Moody dies during the operation.

Explanation: Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, killed by Voldemort's own Avada Kedavra curse. His magical eye is later recovered by Umbridge at the Ministry before Harry frees it. It's the trio's first major loss.

Explanation: The Elder Wand, the most powerful wand of all. Grindelwald → Dumbledore (1945 duel) → Draco Malfoy (disarms Dumbledore in Book 6) → Harry (disarms Draco at Malfoy Manor, B7). Harry is its true master when facing Voldemort.

Explanation: Fred Weasley, killed by an explosion in a Hogwarts corridor. He laughs at Percy's joke right before dying — one of the most emotional deaths in the saga. His twin George survives, minus one ear (lost earlier in Book 7).

Explanation: Molly Weasley, in a duel after Bellatrix nearly killed Ginny. Her famous line "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!" is one of Book 7's most memorable moments.

Explanation: Neville Longbottom, the "loser" of the early years. Pulling the sword from the burning Sorting Hat, he beheads Nagini in a single strike, destroying Voldemort's last immortality link. He ends the saga as a hero.

Explanation: Lily Evans (Harry's mother). His childhood friend at Spinner's End, she was his one love. It was to protect Lily's son that Snape played his double-agent role for 17 years. His last word before dying: "Always".

Explanation: A station that looks like King''s Cross, in a kind of limbo between life and death. Harry can choose to stay ("board the train")... or to come back. Dumbledore explains it is only Voldemort''s Horcrux in him that died, not Harry.

Explanation: Expelliarmus, the Disarming Charm. The Elder Wand refuses to strike its true master (Harry) and rebounds the curse against Voldemort. A symbolic ending: Harry wins by disarming, not killing — even against the worst Dark wizard.

Explanation: The Tale of the Three Brothers, from "The Tales of Beedle the Bard". The Peverell brothers (Antioch, Cadmus, Ignotus) cross a river and each receive a gift from Death. The 3 magical objects are passed down through centuries — Harry descends from the youngest, Ignotus.

Explanation: 19 years. We find Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione as adults, seeing their children off to the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9¾. Harry tells his son Albus Severus that being in Slytherin would be no shame.

Explanation: Harry Potter, because he (briefly) possesses all 3 Hallows at once. Unlike Voldemort, Harry sees no power in it — he hides the Stone in the forest, returns the Elder Wand to Dumbledore''s tomb, and keeps only the family Cloak of the Peverells.
